Jane Bateson

Jane Bateson has an extensive level of experience in risk management and leadership. Her passion for gender equality and community development have seen her work as Women’s Empowerment and Business Centre Advisor for the Department of Women’s Affairs (Vanuatu), National President of National Association of Women in Construction and Non-executive Director for Missionary Ventures Australia.

Jane has experience in developing training manuals, and facilitating Canvas Business Model workshops.

Jane Bateson holds a Master’s degree of International Community Development & a Diploma of project management.

Dr Adrian Soh

Dr Adrian Soh has taught and researches International Business at RMIT, Adrian has eight years of teaching and organising professional events for university students He holds bachelor degrees in Art (with honours) and economics and a PhD in economics.

Adrian directs Soh and Soh Economic, a social enterprise that deals in artwork from not-for-profits

Deborah Valente

Deborah Valente has over 20 years public-sector experience in Human Resources including facilitation, group training and mediation processes, as well as providing high level advice on workplace performance management issues. She has investigated serious breaches of the APS Code of Conduct, working extensively with management and the senior executive. Deborah has also conducted numerous interviews on behalf of government relating to personal and domestic violence issues. She has excellent communication and presentation skills and is adept at working with people across all levels. Deborah has a keen interest in singing and music and is currently a volunteer choir leader with Merri Health, providing a respite service for carers and their families. Deborah holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Management.

Jason Lynch

Jason Lynch has designed and created a number of courses to included Applied Counselling Facilitating Group Work, and has taught Certificate 1 in Work Education and VETS subject Certificate 11 in community Services in particular Communication skills, project management.

TMC Diploma: Fundamentals of Marketing, Advertising, and Business Communication.

Aleksei Bondarenko-Edwards

Aleksei Bondarenko-Edwards has a diverse background working across local government, not-for-profits & private industry, he brings an intersectional skill set and unique understanding of business and community development to the table.

Prior to him joining Capacity International he worked with The ANPO experience as a Critical Thinking Facilitator and as sales and Marketing Manager at the Yarra Recreation Centre where he combined his skills in public relations with his know-how in community development to develop a strong community focused approach to engagement and capacity building

Aleksei holds a Master’s Degree, International Community Development and a Bachelors Degree, Sociology & Public Relations

Peter Bonett

Peter Bonett B. Comm (Melb) CPA has over 34 years’ experience in taxation compliance including 20 years as a senior executive in the ATO, predominantly in the Energy & Resources sector.  As an Assistant Commissioner he led the former Large Business Energy & Resources Segment over extensive periods and has been responsible for developing and implementing strategy for income tax compliance in this sector.  Peter has also worked as a consultant for the IMF and conducted a mission to assist China.  He currently has a consultancy role with Deayton Consulting which specialises in providing leading edge capability consultancy services to government agencies.
